Education Programmes
Access to education is one of the essential missions of the Institut français, with specific attention towards harder-to-reach audiences, students from communities and children with special access needs and disabilities.
The Institut français welcomes up to 10,000 visiting pupils from over 150 schools every year.
It also offers all year round an extensive programme for children and the whole family, with creative activities at the Bibliothèque Quentin Blake and screenings catering to toddlers, children and teenagers at Ciné Lumière.
Every year in November it celebrates children’s literature during a week with the South Ken Kids Festival featuring events and workshops at the Institut, in schools, and, for the first time in 2022, in hospitals in the Greater London.
Women Shaping the World
The Institut français has been addressing the issues and perspectives of women’s rights and women’s creation through a series of literary events, film screenings and discussions with and about women shaping the world. Women Shaping The World is the perfect platform to promote your company’s commitment to women empowerment, diversity and gender equality, and promote a meaningful cause in line with your CSR values.
